About Randy

Randy utilizes his 30-plus years of experience in financial services to help financial advisors grow faster, increase efficiencies, enhance their business valuation and have more fun. His favorite part of his role is meeting new people, hosting discovery conversations and sharing ideas to help advisors take their business to the next level.

Randy earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and an MBA from Drake University. Prior to joining Carson in 2013, Randy held various roles with investment and insurance companies including administration, underwriting, marketing and distribution. That diversity of roles helps him offer unique perspectives to growing financial services firms.

Randy and his wife, Kristi, have three children: Jacob, Jonah and Madeleine. During the summer, you’ll find Randy by the lake with family and friends. In the offseason, he’s happy playing games, watching Big Ten football or binge-watching a new show with Kristi.
